Floods and land sliding feared in different areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa as Pakistan Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rain with strong winds and thunder in various districts of the province during next 24 hours. According to the Meteorological Department, due to heavy rains, low-lying areas of Peshawar, Mardan, Charsadda, Swabi, Nowshera, DI Khan and Bannu are feared to be flooded, while landslides were also feared in the upper areas of the province. During the last 24 hours, the highest rainfall was recorded at 19 mm in Kakul, the maximum temperature in Peshawar was 26 degrees Celsius while the humidity ratio in Peshawar was recorded at 85 percent.
