Four people were swept away in flash floods due to torrential rains in Zhob district of Balochistan. Due to heavy rains in the Mount Sulaiman range, a car was washed away in flash flood at Shirani area on Zhob-DI Khan Highway, resulting in the death of four people. According to administration sources, two women and two children are among the dead, A man and a woman remained safe in the incident. The affected family belongs to Quetta. Traffic flow has been suspended in Shirani area between Quetta and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa due to flooding. The administration said that people should avoid traveling on the highway until it is cleared. On the other hand, according to the Met Department, rain was likely in Islamabad, Upper Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Kashmir today. Besides that, the coastal areas of Sindh could also receive rain.
