At least four persons were killed when a truck overturned at Saitpur road in Alipur on Friday. Rescue officials said 30 people, who were going to attend a wedding, have been injured in the accident. The rescue and locals provided first aid to the injured on the spot. Officials said the accident was a result of overspeeding. The injured and dead bodies have been shifted to Tehsil Headquarters Hospital. In another accident, a tanker carrying milk from Okara to Lahore overturned due to a burst tire. The driver died on the spot due to the overturning of the heavy vehicle. The rescue team shifted the driver’s dead body to a hospital.
