The first image of the Moon by iCube Qamar has been received. Pakistan had launched a historic space mission to the moon. The launch of the satellite iCube Qamar was telecast live. The satellite was jointly developed by China's Shanghai University and SPARCO, to take pictures of the lunar surface. Qamar is equipped with two optical cameras. Two days ago, Pakistan's first satellite iCube Qamar entered the lunar orbit. This space mission is evaluating subsystems in orbit testing and verification. Once in orbit, the satellite is performing as designed, and now the first image of the Moon has been received from iCube Qamar.
