A massive fire erupted in a mart near Zamzama Park in Karachi.Soon after receiving the report, four fire-brigade vehicles rushed to the spot and started operation to bring the fire under control.The firefighters faced difficulties as huge amount of smoke engulfed the basement of the building. Rescue personnel said that the fire was being prevented from growing.

Earlier on Sunday, a fire broke out in a parked container-mounted trailer at Federal B Area. Rescue-1122 spokesperson Hassaan Ul Haseeb Khan said that the fire erupted in the front portion of the trailer, which was put out by firefighters.He said that the exact cause of the blaze could not be ascertained. The truck’s front portion was badly destroyed.
