A fire erupted at a hotel in Peshawar on Friday morning swept through the top floor of the building. The Rescue 1122 and fire-brigade personnel rushed to site backed by three water bowsers, ambulance and 19 staff. The fire-fighters wasted no time and doused the blaze in KDF Hotel, located on Kohat Road, within 30 minutes and supervised the cooling process. The Rescue 1122 said there was no casualties in the fire incident. A spokesman of recue department told media that fire erupted on the top floor of the hotel and, according to preliminary investigation, was caused by an electricity short-circuit.
