A huge fire erupted at a clinic in a residential area of Karachi. The clinic was located in the Johar Chowrangi area of Gulistan-e-Johar locality. Soon after receiving the report, a fire brigade vehicle rushed to the spot and began a rescue operation, after which the fire was brought under control. One man lost consciousness due to thick smoke. Later, the rescue personnel shifted the hospital  The cause of the fire at the clinic could not be revealed. 

Earlier on Tuesday, a massive fire erupted at a hospital in Karachi, but thanks to the quick action of the firefighters, the flames were doused in no time. This caused quite a lot of panic, and people clambered onto the roof of the building, fearing that the fire had spread to the upper floors of the building A fire brigade and volunteers from different welfare organisations assisted in dousing the fire using two fire tenders and a snorkel.

After receiving the report, one fire-bridge vehicle rushed to the spot, which started a rescue operation and brought the fire under control. Several family members of people trapped in the building rushed to the hospital and gathered outside as news of the fire hit the airwaves. “If firefighters had not arrived on time, we would not have survived,” said a woman, whose two-year-old boy was one of the patients rescued from the hospital.
