Important development has been made on Saturday, in the investigation into PTI forbidden funding case as the Federal Investigation Agency has unearthed 114 accounts of a close aide to PTI Chief Imran Khan. During its probe, the FIA discovered 114 accounts of Imran Khan’s right-hand man, Tariq Shafi. Dubious transactions worth millions of rupees were made through these accounts. Mr Shafi is a member of PTI central finance board. He is also a member of Tariq Shafi Insaf Trust and Shaukat Khnum Memorial Trust. Several PTI leaders were given cash or sent money through accounts which were under the use of Mr Shafi. Despite a call-up notice by the FIA, Mr Shafi did not appear before the investigation agency and
went underground.
