The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), in collaboration with the National Crime Bureau (NCB) of Interpol, arrested a proclaimed offender, namely Iftikhar Ahmad, in Croatia. Soon after his arrest, the proclaimed offender was immediately shifted to Islamabad Airport. Iftikhar Ahmad was arrested after a period of sixteen years. FIA and Interpol authorities have already issued red-warrants for the accused. The accused was wanted by Punjab police as a case was registered against him in Police Station Agoki in Sialkot. The accused and his colleagues committed a robbery in a house in 2008. Later, FIA immigration staff handed over the proclaimed offender to Punjab police.
