Farooq Sattar urges govt to take action against dumpers Breaking

February 19, 2025

Senior MQM-Pakistan leader Dr Farooq Sattar urged the government and law enforcement agencies to take action against dumpers, which he said were causing frequent road accidents in the city.  Speaking at a press conference alongside Sindh’s Senior Minister Sharjeel Memon, Sattar appealed to citizens to seek justice through the appropriate forums. He highlighted that it is the responsibility of the government, administration, and law enforcement agencies to address the dangers posed by dumpers and trucks during the day.

"Immediate action should be taken in accident-prone areas, and the victims and their families must receive justice," he said. He also called for concrete action against the culprits.  Sattar also stressed the need for an independent commission to investigate these accidents, clarifying that they should not be given an ethnic angle.
