The Ministry of Commerce has banned export of 212 items to Afghanistan under the Transit Trade agreement. The ministry has issued an SRO (Statutory Regulatory Order) in this regard under which all kinds of cloth, car tyres, tea leaves, cosmetics and toilet items have been banned to carry to Afghanistan. Under the SRO, nuts, dried and fresh fruits and home appliances like refrigerators, air-conditioners, juicers, etc., have also been banned.
