The Excise and Taxation & Narcotics Control Department has initiated a crackdown against tax evaders, stating that despite repeated notices and reminders, certain individuals have yet to fulfill their civic responsibilities. The crackdown aims to take impartial legal action against defaulters, considering all aspects of their social standing, and impose penalties alongside the fulfillment of governmental duties. The spokesperson for the Excise and Taxation Faisalabad Region on Wednesday informed that several notifications had been issued to tax evaders, advising them to collect their dues by adhering to their civic duties. However, no response or acknowledgment has been received from them.
