Unknown assailants opened fire on a car, resulting in the tragic deaths of former MTO Police Saadullah Khan Tatrakhel and two his children on the Indus Highway near Karam River. The targeted attack spared the women occupants of the vehicle, who escaped unharmed. The victims, identified as Saadullah Khan Tatrakhel and his nephews aged 8 and 12, were en route from Lucky Marwat to Peshawar for medical treatment when they were ambushed. Despite swift rescue efforts by authorities, the perpetrators fled the scene, prompting an intensive search operation in the area. Meanwhile, in Karachi's Bahadurabad area near Shahrah Faisal Karsaz bridge, another incident of violence occurred when robbers opened fire during a robbery attempt. The confrontation left 24-year-old Asif, son of Junaid Iqbal, injured. He was rushed to Jinnah Hospital for treatment as police investigate the incident. These incidents underscore growing concerns over security in urban and rural areas alike, prompting heightened police vigilance and public safety measures across affected regions.
