Ex- Chief Minister Punjab Pervaiz Elahi’s bail in the Judicial Complex attack case had to be delayed once again after police failed to submit relevant records in court. Elahi was represented by a junior associate of his lawyer Sardar Abdul Razzaq. The court instructed police once again to submit the releavnt records on Wednesday and said that the matter would be put off for one day.However, Elahi’s lawyer argued for the case to be fixed for September 14. The judge fixed the hearing for September 15, citing a busy schedule. The Islamabad High Court also wrapped up a case regarding Elahi’s arrest under MPO. Islamabad’s DC appeared in Justice Tariq Mahmood Jahangir’s court in person and said that the arrest orders issued against Elahi under the MPO had been withdrawn. Elahi was not brought to court from jail for the hearing.
