Eight teachers were injured when a carry van fell into a gorge in Basandh area of Mansehra on Tuesday evening, rescue sources said. According to details, due to failure of brakes, a carry van with school teachers on board skidded off road and plunged into a ravine. As a result of accident, Arshad Saeed, brother Amjad Saeed, the President All Teachers Association among eight teachers of Basandh middle school were injured. Rescue personnel reached the scene of accident and shifted the injured teachers to King Abdullah Hospital Mansehra. Office Secretary All Teachers Association Shakeel Frazi expressing his sorrow over the accident prayed for early recovery of the injured teachers and demanded of the authorities concerned for providing best treatment facilities to them.
