Work on the delimitation of the national and provincial assembly constituencies has been completed as the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) will release the preliminary list of new constituencies. As per the schedule, the preliminary lists of new constitutions, delimited under the digital census, were to be released on October 10. However, the ECP has completed its work 15 days before the scheduled time. After the details of the new constituencies are released, objections to them will be received till October 26, and hearings on those objections will be held till November 25. The final list of constituencies will be released on November 30 after which a 54-day election schedule will be given and general elections will be held in the last week of January 2024.
