The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) delisted five important cases, including the plea seeking the removal of former premier Imran Khan from Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairmanship, which were scheduled to be heard on December 13 (Tuesday) due to the non-availability of the bench. The ECP announced that the delisted cases will be heard on December 20. The ECP was about to hear the case against Imran Khan for not submitting details of election expenses tomorrow.
The ECP had also scheduled the hearing of the case regarding seizing prohibited funding tomorrow. The ECP has also delisted the case against Imran Khan seeking his removal from PTI chairmanship. The ECP had also scheduled the hearing of the plea regarding the non-issuance of victory notification of Imran Khan in by-elections for tomorrow which has been delisted now. However, the case of contempt of court against Imran Khan, Asad Umar and Fawad Chaudhry will be heard tomorrow by the ECP.
