Traffic e-challaning has been started in different areas of Karachi through drones. Drones started flying in Sadar, Zeb-un-Nisa Street, Predi, Empress Market and surrounding areas. Traffic police and Safe City Authority team started issuing challans on various roads of the city for traffic violations. Traffic police and Safe City Authority representatives issued challans for no-parking violations through drones.

E-challans were issued for vehicles parked in no-parking, double and triple parking. According to traffic police officials, the drone is equipped with a modern camera which is connected to the Safe City system. A representative of the traffic police will fly the drone and e-challans will be issued to the vehicles committing the violation.
