The Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has appointed Dr. Shaheen Afridi as the Director General Health Services Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. She is a Grade-20 officer and was previously serving as Principal at the Postgraduate Paramedical Institute Peshawar. 

According to the notification issued by the Establishment Department, Dr. Shaheen Afridi has been assigned this responsibility against a vacant post. The appointment has been made to one of the most important positions in the Health Department, and sources consider this change significant for the improvement of public health services.
