Death toll in RY Khan Motorway accident rises to 13Breaking

The death toll in a van-bus crash on M-4 Motorway in Khanpur Town, Rahim Yar Khan has risen to 13 on Saturday. A customs official also sustained serious injuries during the incident. On Friday night, a passenger van overturned due to a tyre burst and a bus ran over it, killing 12 people and injuring another 12 on M-4 Motorway. However, today another injured person succumbed to his wounds and breathed his last, taking the tally to 13.

In this tragic incident, collector customs Khalil Ahmad also sustained serious injuries as his car which was coming from behind, rammed into the bus which had already crashed into a van. As a result, the collector customs received critical injuries and was rushed to Sheikh Zayed Hospital in serious condition.

His three daughters who were also in the car were hurt slightly. But his wife and son remained unhurt. According to rescue officials, the dead bodies of five passengers were sent to Sheikh Zayed Hospital in RYK and five bodies were removed to the Rural Health Centre. While three bodies were claimed by their families and they took these bodies with them.
