Mastermind of Dasu attack and notorious Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) leader, Tariq was killed in an operation in Kunar province of Afghanistan. As many as 10 Chinese national were killed and more than two dozen others were injured in Dasu attack which took place in July last year. The victims were Chinese workers who were traveling on a bus to the construction site of the Dasu Hydropower Project when a devastating suicide attack occurred, sending shockwaves throughout the region.
