The daily number of Covid-19 tests has built up further as Pakistan has recorded another 42 coronavirus infections with no fatality during the last 24 hours (Thursday), showed the statistics released by the National Institute of Health (NIH) on Friday morning. According to the NIH data, the death toll in the country remained unchanged at 30,641 whereas the number of total infections now climbed up to 1,576,837 after adding the fresh 42 cases. During the last 24 hours (Thursday), 5,985 tests were conducted throughout Pakistan as compared to previous day’s 5338 whereas the positivity ratio has also inched up to 0.67%. The number of patients in critical care stood at 16.
