A dacoit was killed during an exchange of fire with police in premises of Darahma police station. According to police sources, Darahma police arrested an accused Muhammad Kashif in two cases numbers 491/24 and 508/24 registered against him. The accused killed Mushtaq Patafi during a bid of snatching motorcycle and shot him dead for putting resistance a few weeks back. The police was taking him to a place for recovery of weapon when the members of the gang including Riaz alias Ratta and other attacked police party to get their fellow releases from police custody.
