An anti-terrorism officer was martyred in an attack by unidentified gunmen in Landi Kotal on Friday morning, says in media reports.  The attackers targeted Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) officer Asim Shinwari outside Zakariya Mosque near his house and fled. 

A police team rushed to the site and shifted the dead body to DHQ Hospital in Landi Kotal for post-mortem. The police personnel cordoned off the area and launched a hunt to trace down the culprits. They also collected evidence from the crime scene and further investigation was under way.
