CTD arrests six militants of banned outfits in PunjabBreaking

Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) Punjab has nabbed six alleged terrorists, including high-profile commander of banned outfit during the multiple raids across the Punjab. In a series of intelligence-based operations (IBOs), the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) Punjab has successfully apprehended six suspected terrorists, with one of them being identified as Bakht Sher, a prominent commander associated with a banned militant organization. The arrests took place in different locations across the province.

 According to CTD spokesperson, the security agency carried out multiple operations in various areas of Punjab, leading to the arrest of Bakht Sher, who is believed to be a key figure within the banned outfit. Additionally, five other individuals were also detained during separate IBOs conducted by the department. During the operations, the CTD recovered a significant amount of explosive material, mobile phones, weapons, and a sum of money from the possession of the arrested suspects. The seized evidence is expected to aid in further investigations and help uncover any potential terror plots or networks associated with the detained individuals.

 The spokesperson commended the efforts of the CTD personnel involved in these operations and highlighted the importance of intelligence-driven operations in combating terrorism. The swift actions of the CTD have once again demonstrated their commitment to ensuring the safety and security of the citizens of Punjab.
