The Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) has issued a public notice regarding the schedule for an MCQs-based preliminary test that will be held on September 27, 2026. According to the “public notice”, the online applications can be submitted for MPT till August 20, 2026. The MPT will be held on September 27, 2026, in 19 cities of the country. Passing the MPT is mandatory to appear in the CSS 2027 written examination.

A minimum of a second-division bachelor's degree is mandatory for CSS 2027 candidates. The candidate’s age limit is between 21 and 30 years, while age, educational qualification, and other terms and conditions are as per the 31st of December 2026 Kit of Date. Application for appearance in MPT must be submitted online with a fee of Rs. 250, which can be paid through PSID. FPSC advised all the candidates to fulfill all the requirements before submission of the application.
