Pakistan has once again registered a surge in Covid-19 infections and everyday number of tests. The daily coronavirus cases has gone over 100 again with no fatality during the last 24 hours (Tuesday), showed the statistics released by the National Institute of Health (NIH) on Wednesday morning. According to the NIH data, the death toll in the country remained the same at 30,649 whereas the number of total infections now went up to 1,579,404 after adding the fresh 109 cases. During the last 24 hours (Tuesday), 4,731 tests as compared to previous day’s 2,818 were conducted throughout Pakistan whereas the positivity ratio also soared to 2.30%. The number of patients in critical care stood at 21.
