An anti-terrorism court (ATC) in Islamabad on Friday issued non-bailable arrest warrants for Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Zain Qureshi in connection with the Sangjani rally case. Anti-terrorism court Judge Tahir Abbas Sipra heard the case. The Court also started proceedings to declare PTI leaders Umar Ayub and Zartaj Gul as proclaimed offenders.

The Court approved an application filed by PTI leader Ali Bokhari seeking exemption from appearance.The case pertains to a protest allegedly involving PTI workers during which public and private property was damaged.  The FIR was filed under anti-terrorism provisions at the Sangjani Police Station, Islamabad.
