The police arrested a cop involved in incidents of kidnapping and collecting extortion from citizens. According to details, accused Babar along with his cohort, both deployed in Tippu Sultan police station used to commit crimes in Saddar areas and they had looted a rickshaw driver last month. They take off a rickshaw driver near FTF, took him to undisclosed location and received Rs30,000 from him. The police was conducting raids to arrest other accused identified as Usman and the detainee was being investigated.
