An Elite Force official, who sustained critical injuries in a terrorist attack on Hathala police station in Dera Islamil Khan last night, has embraced martyrdom on Monday. The name of the martyred policeman was Wakilzadah. It is to be noted here that a group of terrorists Sunday attacked Hathala Police Station with grenades and rockets in Dera Ismail Khan. They threw grenades at the police station and fired five rockets damaging the main gate and the surveillance cameras. The police retaliated bravely and made the attackers run away. A crossfire between the police and the terrorists continued for an hour. Two of the policemen were reported to have sustained injuries.
