A policeman embraced martyrdom when unidentified terrorists opened fire on him in Bannu on Monday.The incident occurred at Howidar Road near Rehra Bridge in Manshera. The cop, who was later identified as Constable Umar Niaz Khan, was deployed at Belt No. 1573 DIG Bungalow. The policeman was going to perform his duty from his native village. A man ended his life after shooting her wife to death in Mansehra.

The incident took place in the Islampura area of Mansehra. Police said that their 3-year-old daughter was found crying beside the dead bodies of her parents. Police further revealed that the accused had already divorced his first wife in Karachi. Soon after the incident, a police team rushed to the site and shifted the dead bodies to the hospital for autopsy.
