Caretaker Chief Minister Punjab Mohsin Naqvi on Tuesday took notice of the dilapidated condition of Nawabpur Road, which has been causing hardship to thousands of families and shopkeepers for the past four years. Naqvi, who was on a surprise visit to Multan, issued immediate orders for the reconstruction of the road. He also directed the Secretary of Communications to oversee the reconstruction efforts. The surprise visit was attended by prominent figures including Provincial Ministers, the Chief Secretary, the Inspector General of Police, and other concerned officials. Speaking to the media, Naqvi said that the reconstruction of Nawabpur Road was a top priority for the government. He said that the road would be reconstructed within a month and that all necessary arrangements would be made to ensure the smooth flow of traffic during the construction period.Naqvi also directed the authorities to take steps to improve the condition of other roads in Multan. He said that the government was committed to providing quality infrastructure to the people of Punjab.
