Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Syed Mohsin Naqvi visited the site of Khalid Butt Chowk underpass in Gulberg on Monday morning and reviewed the progress made on the project so far. Ordering the contractor to ensure timely completion of the project at all costs, the chief minister also directed that traffic be regulated in a best possible way while the work was underway. He expressed the hope that a signal-free corridor from Gulberg’s Center Point to Defence Morr would facilitate commuters, especially those residing in Gulberg, Kalima Chowk, CBD, Cavalry Ground, DHA and Walton.  He also ordered the repair of roads adjoining the project’s site. Provincial Information Minister Amir Mir also accompanied the CM on the occasion.
