Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has ordered to ensure payments to Shuthra Punjab workers before the 5th of every month. Chairing a meeting of Suthra Punjab Programme in Lahore on Thursday, Maryam Nawaz directed to take strict and immediate legal action against those who do not pay Shuthra Punjab workers on time. Environment-friendly citizens will be given stickers and gifts to those who maintain cleanliness in commercial and residential areas every month.
Chief Minister Maryam ordered MDs of WASA to go into the field for two hours daily. She directed TMOs and FMOs to visit at least five UCs daily and review cleanliness. Maryam Nawaz directed to mobilize Shuthra Punjab anti-littering squad in every divisional headquarters and anti-littering squad riding e-bikes will monitor roads, streets and markets. It is mandatory for Shuthra Punjab workers to carry garbage bags like Murree, Maryam Nawaz directed.

The CM directed to ensure repair and accuracy of mechanical sweepers and ordered to conduct daily reviews.She directed to take immediate legal action against the company concerned for not paying workers in Rojhan and Chobara. Maryam Nawaz Sharif also ordered to continue desalination for improvement in drainage.
