Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz and PML-N President Nawaz Sharif on Tuesday visited Ravi Urban Development Authority (RUDA) office in Lahore. During her visit, RUDA Chairman Imran Amin briefed the Chief Minister and the PML-N president about the on-going development projects.
On the occasion, Maryam Nawaz directed that all the on-going projects should be constructed as per directives from Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) President Nawaz Sharif who directed to complete all projects as per state-of-the-art level. Meanwhile, the Punjab government has approved phase-wise construction, repair and rehabilitation projects in major cities across the province.
Chairing a meeting held in Lahore on Tuesday, Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz said that sewage and drainage systems will be developed in 59 cities in the first phase. The meeting further decided to connect water supply tubewells to solar energy to reduce electricity expenses. Maryam Nawaz also directed that swings and sports facilities must be included in all new park projects.
