The police rescued three kidnapped people including two children during an operation in Katcha area of Obaro on Saturday. Heavy contingent of police launched crackdown against kidnappers in Katcha area of Obaro district Ghotki of Sindh. An exchange of fire took place between police and kidnappers after which the abductors fled leaving behind two kidnapped children and another person. The police cordoned off the area after the encounter and conducted search operation. The three rescued kidnap victims were handed over to their heirs after legal formalities.
