The Central Development Working Party (CDWP) meeting, chaired by Deputy Chairman Planning Commission Jahanzeb Khan, approved a development project with a budget of Rs 45 million. Additionally, the meeting endorsed three projects totaling Rs 358.810 billion, recommending them to be forwarded to the National Economic Council (NEC) for further consideration. The projects under discussion pertain to the education, physical planning, and housing sectors. On the other hand, according to the statistics of the Planning Commission, 20 billion 895 million rupees have been released and 5 billion 96 million rupees have been spent for the development projects of HEC. The statistics of the Planning Commission further described the government has allocated funds of more than one trillion 56 billion rupees for the development works of NHA during the current financial year, of which 41 billion 99 billion rupees have been released while 13 billion 3 billion rupees have been spent.
