CDA-DWP approves PC-I of water supply network for H-16's Model PrisonBreaking

Chairman of Capital Developmrnt Authority (CDA)  Muhammad Ali Randhawa chaired 74th meeting of the Capital Development Authority’s Development Working Party at CDA Headquarters here on Tuesday.  The meeting was attended by concerned senior officers of Planning, Development & Special Initiatives Division,  Ministry of Interior, Finance Division, Members of the CDA Board and officers of relevant formations. 

The CDA-DWP in its meeting approved the PC-I of the project "Providing and Laying External Water Supply Network for Model Prison at H-16, Islamabad" with a cost of Rs. 248.989 million. The project aims to provide drinking water to Model Prison and Jinnah Medical Complex, Sector H-16.  The meeting also approved PC-II amounting to Rs. 11.00 million for “Hiring of Advisory Services for newly estblished “Islamabad Water” (Water and Sewerage utility) at Islamabad".  

The federal cabinet has approved establishment of Islamabad Water in October, 2024. Accordingly, CDA needs technical support for transition period of one year to strengthen the Islamabad water and in this context PC-II of the project was approved.
