A case has been registered against three police officials at Khan Garh Police Station for allegedly implicating two brothers in a criminal case and tampering with official records, police said on Friday. According to police, in Case no.882/22 registered at Khan Garh Police Station, proclaimed offenders Azmat Ali and Moazzam Ali were neither nominated by the complainant nor named by any investigating officer.

The officials allegedly colluded to facilitate a friend by unlawfully involving his opponents in the case and adding their Names to the official record. An inquiry conducted into the matter substantiated the allegations against the officials. Subsequently, a case under Section 155-C of the Police Order was registered against Muhammad Shahid, Muhammad Arsalan and Naad Ali at Khan Garh Police Station.
