Caretaker Prime Minister advisor Ahad Cheema filed a petition in the accountability court, Lahore seeking permission to go abroad. In his petition, Cheema requested the court to grant him permission for a foreign tour scheduled from Aug 20-27. Following the petition, the court has sought report from the (National Accountability Bureau (NAB) officials. It is to be mentioned here that a reference of Ashiana housing and assets beyond means against Cheema is under investigation with the NAB.
