Caretaker Federal Minister announces support package for artistsBreaking

Caretaker Federal Minister for National Heritage and Culture Jamal Shah has announced a support package for artists, writers, and poets. The package includes financial assistance, training programs, and opportunities for international exposure. While talking to state TV channel, Shah said that the government is committed to promoting the arts and culture of Pakistan. He said that artists play an important role in shaping the national identity and promoting soft power.

The support package will be implemented by the National Arts Council. Artists can apply for financial assistance through the council's website. The training programs will focus on skills development and business management. The opportunities for international exposure will include festivals, workshops, and exhibitions. Shah said that the government is also committed to preserving the country's cultural heritage. He said that the ministry will set up new museums and strengthen and modernize the existing museums. The government will also utilize all available resources for the restoration of heritage and historical sites.

He said that poets and artists are the country's identities in the world. He said that launching the artist support fund would reflect the government's priorities. The support package is a welcome development for the arts and culture community in Pakistan.
