The federal cabinet on Tuesday approved funding of Rs41 billion to the Interior Ministry to possibly halt the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) long march. The cabinet approved the summary in a session chaired by the Prime Minister on Tuesday. Cabinet has issued the fund to halt the possible PTI-long march toward the federal cabinet. Sources said the cabinet condemned the arrest warrant against Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah. Anti-corruption department got the arrest warrant over the wrong record, they added. The cabinet also discussed the investigation of the audio leaks from the PM house and the lost cypher from the PM house record. Senior civil judge Rawalpindi on Tuesday returned Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah’s plea against the release of his arrest warrant with an objection.
