Air passengers were in shock when the personnel of Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) and Airport Security Force (ASF) clashed at country’s key airport in Islamabad on Saturday, sources said. Scuffles broke out between CAA and ASF jawans at Islamabad’s International Airport in which one CAA staffer was injured who was rushed to a hospital for treatment. Sources at the airport divulged that the CAA officer barred the ASF jawans deployed at the post not to make a bonfire to beat the cold. This led to heated arguments between the personnel who later came to blows at each other. The sources further informed that an inquiry has been initiated against the CAA and ASF jawans involved in the clash. However, there were no official words from either CAA or ASF high-ups.
