Judge Afzal Majoka of the District and Session Courts Islamabad reserved the decision on the pre-arrest bail applications of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan and his wife, Bushra Bibi, on Monday. The decision is expected shortly, as the judge announced to reserve a decision for a while and pronounce it soon. On Friday, Bushra Bibi appeared before the judge and, after the bail requests were reserved, she broke down with tears in the courtroom, claiming they were being unfairly punished. Bushra Bibi voiced her frustrations, stating, “I am not here to seek justice; I’ve kept my belongings in the car and am ready to go to jail whenever instructed.” She further expressed that all lawyers, including her own (advocates from PTI), were merely wasting time and questioned, “Isn’t the person inside also human? Can no judge see this?” During the hearing, Bushra Bibi took the position that she was a victim of judges sitting in the chair of justice for the last nine months. She then announced, “I will no longer come to this court; only injustices happen here.”
