Bodies of an elderly couple were found from a house in southern Cantonment Lahore on Tuesday, police said. According to details, the husband and wife identified as 80-year-old Sheikh Imtiaz and Memopna Imtiaz was found dead inside their home. The residents of the area contacted the police after they felt pungent smell coming out of the house. Police said that it seems that the couple was poisoned to death. However, the bodies were shifted to hospital for postmortem to know the real cause of the death. A case was also registered into the incident and postmortem report was awaited for investigations.
