Police resolved the blind murder case and arrested a girl over murder of father in jurisdiction of Nowshera police station in Khushawab. According to details, bullet riddled body of a man was found from a house in Sabharwal area a couple of days earlier and it was told the deceased had committed suicide over poverty. However, the police over suspicion held the daughter who during investigations confessed the crime.

The girl identified as Mehwish said that she wanted to get marry with her neighbourer, Asim but my father was not in this favour.  “To get rid of father for fulfilling my desire of choice marriage, I along with Asim served toxic pills to father before shooting him dead on late night,” Mehwish told police.  The police registered a case against the detainee and started raids to arrest her cohort.
