The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Sargodha launched a tree plantation campaign on Friday. The campaign was inaugurated by BISE Secretary Dr. Mohsin Abbas, who planted a sapling at the board's headquarters. Dr. Abbas said that the campaign was aimed at raising awareness about the importance of trees and to encourage people to plant more trees. He said that trees were essential for the environment, as they helped to improve air quality, reduce pollution, and conserve water. He also said that trees were a source of shade and beauty, and that they could provide a habitat for wildlife.
Dr. Abbas urged all BISE employees, schools, and colleges to participate in the tree plantation campaign. He said that everyone could contribute to making Sargodha a greener city by planting trees. The tree plantation campaign is part of the BISE's efforts to promote environmental sustainability. The board has also implemented a number of other initiatives to reduce its environmental impact, such as using energy-efficient lighting and appliances, and recycling waste.
