The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Sahiwal announced the results of 9th class examinations on Tuesday. A total of 91,261 candidates appeared in the exam, of whom 41,235 were declared successful, showing a pass percentage of 45.18%. The pass percentage for regular students was 47.47%, while the pass percentage for private students was 34.87%. As many as 72 special students also participated in the exam, out of which 70 were declared successful. The results were announced by Commissioner Sahiwal/Chairperson board, Shoaib Iqbal Syed, at a ceremony. He congratulated the successful candidates and wished them all the best for their future endeavors. The spokesperson for BISE Sahiwal said that the results were available online and on the board's website. Candidates can check their results by entering their roll number.
He also said that the board would issue hard copies of the results to the schools within a week. The results were welcomed by the educationists and parents. They said that the results were a reflection of the hard work of the students and teachers. They also expressed hope that the successful candidates would continue to excel in their studies.
