The police foiled an attempt to smuggle fake currency notes and arrested a female smuggler here on Tuesday. The Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police during joint checking of vehicles recovered hundreds of 5000 rupee fake notes valuing millions of rupees.  The police confiscated the fake currency notes and detained the suspect. Police said that the detainee was member of gang which spreads fake currency notes in markets causing huge loss to traders.
