Bid to smuggle 9kg narcotics to Sharjah foiled, two brothers heldBreaking

The Airport Security Force foiled a bid to smuggle drugs worth millions of rupees abroad and arrested two brothers at Peshawar Airport on Thursday. The ASF on a tip-off searched the luggage of two brothers leaving for Sharjah through private airline flight. During search, 9 kilogram drugs worth millions of rupees were recovered from secret cavities and both accused were arrested. The detainees along with recovered drugs were handed over to the ANF authorities for further investigations. Earlier, the airport security force also foiled a drug smuggling attempt from Sialkot and recovered 1 kg of ice heroin from a passenger of a Bahrain-bound flight. According to the authorities, the staff foiled the smuggling attempt by recovering drugs during the search of the goods.
